ALFALFA


Our most popular sprout. Adds a fresh and light tasty texture to any meal.


Nutrition: High in saponin which lowers cholesterol and stimulates the immune system. Contains Vitamins A, B, C, E and K as well as Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Iron and Zinc.


Good in: Any sandwich, salad or omelette.







ANCIENT EASTERN BLEND


A mixture of Fenugreek, Lentils, Kamut and Adzuki beans.


Nutrition: This mix is high in folic acid which is essential to the growth and function of new cells and important in every diet, particularly for pregnant women. Contains Iron, Niacin and Calcium.


Good in: Add a spicy touch to any rice or noodle dish.








BEAN MIX


A protein crunch containing Marrowfat, Yellow Peas, Green Lentils, French Lentils & Garbanzos.


Nutrition: A good source of Iron and protein, this mix is an intelligent addition to anyone’s active lifestyle. Contains Calcium, Magnesium and Vitamin A, B and C.


Good in: A great addition to egg frittatas or anything that calls for texture and bite!






BROCCOLI


Has a zingy peppery bite and presents a refreshing taste to the palate.


Nutrition: Scientists at John Hopkins School of  Medicine discovered that 3 day old broccoli sprouts have exceptionally high amounts of a natural cancer fighting compound called sulforaphane.


Good in: A savory addition to meals and excellent garnish to soup









E A R T H G R O W N   S P R O U T S


PEA SHOOTS


Tastes just like pea pods! With a low water content, pea shoots have the longest shelf life of all our sprouts.


Nutrition: Contains Vitamin A, C, and E and all the essential amino acids as well as being high in Potassium and fibre.


Good in: The crisp vibrant green of the pea shoots is great as a garnish, diced and used in pastas, or as a finishing touch to a stir-fry.







SUNFLOWER


Our signature product! Just as sunflowers turn to face the sun from morning to night, you too can add some sunny, sweet crispy flavour to any dish! 


Nutrition: A complete food containing all eight essential amino acids, high in Lecithin, protein and Vitamin D. Contains a high level of Omega 6 fatty acid.


Good in: Wonderful addition to any rice dish, salad or sandwich.  Can also be blended into soups or juiced and added to any smoothie.




WHEATGRASS


We are Toronto’s foremost supplier of wheatgrass and our product can be found at the majority of the city’s juice bars including Booster Juice and Jugo Juice. 


Nutrition: One ounce of wheatgrass is nutritionally equivalent to over one kilogram of fresh fruits and vegetables. Contains all eight of the essential amino acids. Contains Vitamins A, B, C, E & K.


Good in: Consumed as a juice, Wheatgrass has a sweet and refreshing taste.  Best (health-wise) consumed on its own, but can be mixed 1:1 with apple or pineapple juice.
