Green Smoothie with Sprouts

makes a delicious green smoothie in less than 3 minutes!

2 cups of water

1 banana (fresh or frozen)

1 pear of apple

1 handful of sunflower sprouts

1 handful of pea shoots

fresh mint (if desired)

• Blend until smooth and enjoy.  Adjust the water for preferred consistency.  Also try doubling the recipe - pour some in your travel mug and enjoy your smoothie when you need an energy boost throughout the day

Bean Sprout w/ Sun-dried Tomato

and Portobello

1 handful of Bean Mix

1 handful of Pea Shoots

1 handful spinach

1/3 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes

1 small portobello, sliced

5 basil leaves minced

1/4 cup chopped onion


• Mix together and drizzle with Balsamic vinegar, olive oil, sea salt and pepper to taste.

• The lentils in this sprout salad are a great source of iron.  Also rich in cholesterol lowering niacin and rich in the anti-oxidant selenium.

instant Sprouts Salad

1 handful of sunflower sprouts

1 handful of pea shoots

1/2 cup ancient eastern blend

1/2 cup bean mix

1 cup alfalfa

1 cup broccoli sprouts

tomato, red pepper, avocado, quinoa and whatever else you desire!


• Put all the sprouts in a big Zip-loc bag and gently shake until mixed.  Put the amount you’re going to eat in a bowl and add your favourite salad dressing.  Leave the leftover sprouts undressed and they will be ready for next time...

Pea Shoots and Sunflower w/ bell pepper and tomato

1 handful of Pea Shoots

1 handful Sunflower sprouts

2 leaves of romaine lettuce, torn

1/2 bell pepper, chopped

1 roma tomato, diced

1/3 cucumber, peeled and sliced


• Mix together and drizzle with Balsamic vinegar, olive oil, sea salt and pepper to taste. 

• This salad has all essential amino acids, blood cleansing chlorophyll and licopine, promoting prostate health.

Sunflower Broccoli w/Cran and Walnut

1 handful Sunflower sprouts

1 handful Broccoli sprouts

1 handful spinach

1/3 cup dried cranberries

1/3 cup chopped walnuts


• Drizzle with raspberry vinaigrette.

Alfalfa Sunflower Bean Mix w/ Cucumber & Tomato

1 handful Alfalfa

1 handful Sunflower sprouts

1 handful Bean Mix

1/2 cucumber peeled and sliced

1 roma tomato


• Use juice from 1/2 a lemon, 2 tbsp olive oil and ground pepper to taste.

• High in energy-boosting vitamin C and saponins to help lower cholesterol and cleanse arteries.

Sunflower Broccoli Bean w/ Avocado & Carrot

1 handful Sunflower sprouts

1 handful Broccoli sprouts

1 handful Bean Mix

1 large avocado, cubed

1 small carrot, peeled and grated (or sliced)


• Use juice from 1/2 a lemon, drizzle with olive oil and a pinch of sea salt.

• Phytochemicals provided by the broccoli are powerful anti-cancer agents.  This salad is also high in anti-oxidant vitamin A, fiber and omega 6.

Alfalfa Broccoli w/ Apple & Raisin

1 handful Alfalfa sprouts

1 handful Broccoli sprouts

1 handful spinach

1 apple, chopped or thinly sliced

1/4 cup raisins or currants


• Drizzle with Balsamic vinegar and olive oil to taste.

• This salad is a good source of calcium for bones, kidney and heart healthy potassium and digestive support from fiber.

Sunflower Pea Shoot Tomato Parsley Olive

1 handful Sunflower sprouts

1 handful Pea Shoots

2 leaves of romaine lettuce, torn

1 roma tomato, diced

2 sprigs fresh parsley, minced

1/4 cup black olives, sliced or crushed


• Drizzle with olive oil, add sea salt and pepper to taste.

• This salad is an excellent cleanser containing high amounts of chlorophyll.  It also stimulates oxygen metabolism, cell respiration and regeneration.

Pea Shoot, Papaya and Kiwi

1 handful pea shoots, torn or cut

1/2 papaya,

2 kiwis

2 cups water

Broccoli BOP

1 handful broccoli sprouts

1 banana

1 cup fresh pineapple

1 large orange

2 cups water

• The broccoli in this fruit fusion is a natural anti cancer. Also a great source of potassium and vitamin C.

Tips for Smoothies

  1. For bananas, if you wait until they are quite ripe, then peel and freeze them in a Zip-loc bag, they will a) last longer and b) make the smoothie a creamy texture.

  2. Adjust water volume to your personal thickness tastes.

  3. Cut Pea Shoots because they have strings (much like celery) that sometimes the blender doesn’t get to.

  4. Adding Flax Seed Oil (minimal flavour) or Hemp Seed Oil (slight nutty flavour) is a good way to balance out omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids.

Sunflower with Peaches and Strawberry

1 handful sunflower sprouts

2 ripe peaches

1 cups strawberry 

2 cups water
